I am Marina, a Romanian visual artist, and I feel, think, and talk a lot. My mission is to inspire my audience to continuously seek beauty all around and within.
My work primarily depicts dramatic places and odd characters in a rich color palette, with two main motifs: beauty and pain.
When I was a teenager I developed a passion for philosophy and delved into topics such as human nature, the mind, the self, and happiness. Around that time, I also discovered painting as a form of self-expression. This led me to seek meaningful questions, find answers, and express them visually.
I am driven by a fundamental need to connect. When I create, I focus on the collective because my experiences, although unique, are essentially universal subjects. Being creative and sharing my work with others is my small contribution to the significant goal of making the world just a bit better.
As of 2022, I live in Tirol, Austria, constantly in awe of the daily views of the Alps.
