Repeatedly seeing the sunrise shining over the tips of the mountains at work made me take dozens of pictures of it. Feeling like just snapping a picture wasn’t enough, I had the urge to paint this illustration. A bit confusing, the title for this page, Milano, isn’t about the location of the subject, but the context in which I painted it — on a train ride heading to Milan.
