Neo-expressionism has had a significant influence on my work in recent years. Rooted in Basquiat’s work, the freedom of expression, the easiness, and somewhat simplicity that comes with it have inspired me to approach this style and have helped me with getting a sense of release unmatched with other styles. Every once in a while I sit down and have a session of translating my feelings and impulses onto the canvas.
